Abstract

Religion and sociology are in one essence are inseparable from human
social existence. Religion is arguably the most significant factor in the lives of
many people and communities across the world, being a source of power over
values, actions, traditions, and social structures. Therefore, sociology is the study
of social relationships, social institutions, and social change within society. The
interconnectedness of these factors poses significant social dynamics. This work
seeks to explore the link between religion and sociology particularly in relation to
conflict and social change from the perspective of Hadith. The research strives to
obtain a more detailed explanation of the way religion determines the social
structure, norms and values of society. It also focuses how Sociology can be used
as method to interpret religion as a social phenomenon. Another concern
addressed by the research is the repercussions of religious conflicts on society as
well as the impact of religion on the societal changes that exist. From the
perspective of the sociology of religion, one may see that there exists an
established scientific pattern of the idea that spiritual people build up the social
structure that encourages loving-kindness and tolerance. Studying the sociology
of religion helps the people to have personal influence on social actions and
exercise self-control in religious contexts. Muhammad Saw (PBUH) the hadith of
the Prophet teaches that people who adhere to science, tolerance and religion have
a religious life, especially Muslims. In Islam, everything is arranged and may be
put into practice, which makes religion the cornerstone of social forms.
